Pantera, the name is associated mainly with an American metal band who are famous for their song "Cemetery Gates". But Pantera is also the name of an album released by RD Burman in 1987.
Now I am very new to indian composers and when I was suggested this album by my friend who is a musician himself. I felt that i have to listen to them. The music itself surprised me as it was a mix of Latin Jazz and Rhythm.

Pantera (1987), was a Latin Rock album, produced by Pete Gavankar (father of Janina Gavankar). The album was an international collaboration, for which RD Burman partnered with Jose Flores in San Francisco.
